We start with four cards that represent the four cardinal directions,
and their traditional meanings.

M, P, E, S

For example:
M
represents the Mental, lies in the East,
is supported by the Spirit of Air and teaches us of Insight.
It’s co-creative task is Perception.

In each archetype, these elements are represented by a different aspect of Insight.

Innocent: Clarity
Seeker
: Vision
Lover: Sensitivity
Orphan: Consciousness
Warrior: Foresight
Magician: Awareness

Consult the following pages to see how this works with each of the directions
and to gain additional insights into each of the 90 cards.

The four Cross-Quarters each unite two of these energies.

The two Cross-Bars also unite two energies. ME, PS
Next we have four cards that unite three energies. MPS, PES, MPE, MES
Finally, we have one card that unites all four energies. MPES
